In 2004, Angelina Jolie the Prime Minister of Cambodia presented her with honorary citizen for the country of Cambodia. The King signed legal papers giving her citizenship because of all of the humanitarian work she has done for the country. Jolie was also the first recipient of the Citizen of the World Award from the UN’s Correspondents’ Association in 2003.

Jolie splits her actress salary 3 different ways. A third of it goes to saving, another third to living expenses, and the rest to charity. In 2002, Angelina adopted a Cambodian boy named Maddox. Then in 2005, Jolie adopted an Ethiopian girl named Zahara. She now plans to spend most of her time doing humanitarian efforts and being a house mom to her children.
